Hannah's Rock Party

Hannah's 7th birthday is tomorrow and we celebrated today with a Rock Climbing Party where the kids climbed for an hour then made pet rocks. We had a blast!!

Hannah and Lauren enjoyed running around the gym with the other girls. Stone could climb to the top! I think he had more fun than any of them!

I bought a Wal-Mart cookie cake and added girls and a few rocks.

Each girl went home with a water bottle, carabiner, granola bar, and GORP... and their new pet.

Sneaky O'Lanigan pots of gold

I made these for Lauren's 4 year old class for St. Patrick's Day.

I bought the pails at Target for $1 and stuffed them with Andies Candies, gold candy, pirate coins, St. Patty's Day stickers, gold and green easter eggs, and my favorite -- a tiny green shot glass! The note says that Sneaky loves his tiny leprechaun drinking glass. The whole project was alot of fun! The gold coins on the nametag were made out of a gold Christmas bag and the ribbon was leftover from a birthday party. The teachers will put them out for the kids to find when they return to their class from lunch!

Albums and Updates

I can't access facebook at work. I am always wanting to show patients and co-workers photos so I wanted to update the blog. My dad is going to Alaska this summer, so I wanted to make sure we had some recent pics posted as well. Bear with me.
  • Lauren Denton with CVI Photography in Summerville photographed our family in December 2008.
  • Lauren a.k.a. Lollie turned 4 in January and celebrated with a pirates and princesses party.
  • Stone believes Baby Alive is choking in this video below.

Kiss your sister ...again... on the mouth... ok, one more time.

I have been a little frustrated with the kids arguing and complaining recently. Stone has even joined in and you can tell that he is tattling in a sing-song voice. I may not totally know what he is saying but I know it is not good!

Well, on this lazy Saturday, Lauren and Hannah woke up fussing about one being on the potty when the other one needed to go, too. About 15 minutes later, they were still at it about something else. So, I said, "That's it! You all hug right this minute and kiss."

"Mom! Not kiss! I don't want to kiss her!"

"Do it or I will go get the spatula and give you a pop."

"OhhhhKAY!"

Then, since they didn't like it ... I said do it again. In the process, Hannah stepped on Lauren's foot and the tattling began again... so I said do it again. They got the picture and stopped for the moment. Wonder how long it will last??
